Autumn is looking more and more upon us, I think it must be the weather as it is still very dry here and has been all year, we have never really recovered from the drought in April. We are hoping to get the wild flower meadow cut this week as it is well past its sell by date and early finishing this year, again I think due to the hot dry weather.
I have been away at a family wedding in Helsinki this week and I do not know if it is that I have got complacent, but when I got back the weeds seem to have gone mad. We also still have a rabbit problem and they have been in the Autumn garden playing havoc with the asters, some are now only a fraction of the height the should be. Needless to say we have spent the last two days patrolling the fencing looking for holes, so far three have be found and repaired, hoping that will keep the little perishers out!
