We have a little culture here at Goltho at the moment as we have an exhibition of metalwork done by a local blacksmith, which are for sale if one or more of them take your fancy, they are placed in strategic places around the garden.
I have been busy beavering whenever the weather permitted, the rose garden is now finished being weeded and I have also got some potting up done ready for our re-opening on Friday 3 February.
Also while closed a new disabled ramp has been put in front of the Teashop so anyone with walking difficulties will find it easier to get to, we have carried the path that this provides on to the toilets, this again will help customers with mobility difficulties.
In the garden the snowdrops are out now in a reasonable quantity the daffodils and hellebores also are out, although I have not finished cutting back and weeding all through the garden it is looking good with lots of colour for this time of the year. Why not get your coat and a pair of waterproof shoes and come and have a breath of fresh air, ending in the tea rooms after for something to warm you up again.
